Adopt a tiger and you'll be giving these endangered big cats a chance of survival for the future...
Majestic, tranquil, yet greatly endangered, the tiger has been admired for years. Believe it or not, at the turn of the 19th century, 100,000 tigers roamed the planet, but today, tigers have deteriorated by around 95 percent.
Do you want to help protect these amazing creatures? By adopting a tiger, you’ll help the charity "Care for the Wild International" maintain their brilliant work and various projects protecting these beautiful creatures that have been injured, orphaned or require continually long-term care.
Born in October 1998, Jasper (pictured above), is an Indo-Chinese tiger, who weighed just 3kg when he was confiscated from smugglers in Cambodia.
When first confiscated, Jasper already had signs of calcium and vitamin D deficiency, which results in poor bone development and the bowing of the legs. But with medical attention and dedicated care, he is now very fit and healthy. He lives in a large natural habitat enclosure near Phnom Penh.
